I work with computers — Linux server administration, development, and whatever else needs to run without falling over.
01 About
I'm Marek, based in Prague and mostly found in a terminal. I study Information Technology at the Czech Technical University, and spend my working hours on Linux and Windows systems at NETHOST — resolving whatever comes in, provisioning new VPS and keeping things running for the people who depend on them.
Alongside the sysadmin side I write code: small tools, backend services, automation scripts and the occasional website (this one, for example). I've also run customer projects at Schneider Electric and written teaching material for high schools and universities — so I'm comfortable on both sides of a handover, building the thing and then explaining it.
